PAINTBRUSH LIFELINE |

1968 – my parents made the first cartoon of my life by giving me a birth. I think I already had a taste to paint a persistence of samogitian.

|
|
My childhood – as far as I remember there were no big stresses about whom to be, only dreams to become a painter. |
|
|
|
|
| |
1987 – at it was mandatory for all unpriviledged soviet guys, after graduating the 1st university course I was picked up to the Soviet army and was „defending“ the Soviet air space in Kaliningrad region for two years.

| |
1989 – it was third and very strong step toward chilhood dreams. For four more years after leaving the Soviet army I was „destroying“ the stock of Art faculty, Điauliai Pedagogical University under the nickname „Neighbour“, given by my fellows. |

1993 – this is forth cartoon of my life and it's still in process – after graduating the university my painbrushes and pencils have started their journey througt different areas of artwork:
studio of animated advertisement „Animagija“;
studio of animated films „Vosinta“;
Norvegian studio of animated films „Filmkameratene“;
Hungarian studio of animated films „Varga“;
Lithuanian studio of animated films.
In all those placed I used to be a highly respected animator and was involved in the following films:
„Karlson on the Roof“;
„Giurin“;
„The Little Mach Girl“;
„Cindy Exercise Video“;
„The Chinese World“;
„Junkyard“;
„Dawdle I, II, III“;
„Rambling Ted“;
„The Mighty Fin“;
„Mr. Been“.
For all those merits I have become a member of Lithuanian Cinematography Union, involved in the Guild of Animators.
There is also the other part of this fifth caricature of my life – paintings for Lithuanian daily newspapers:
„Lietuvos rytas“;
„Respublika“;
Weekly papers:
„Atgimimas“;
„Dienovidis“;
Magazines:
„Mano namai“
„Tik vyrams“ (it is a big pleasure to paint, as this magazine is for men only :-).
At the present time I still paint caricatures for magazines:
„Valstybë“;
„Veidas“;
„Autobild“.

This one is my future plans and dreams to have own studio, where I would be able to paint my...
...to become a painter.
